Electrolysis is the only hair removal method recognized by the FDA as permanent. A very fine probe is placed into each hair follicle and a small electrical current destroys its growth center, so that hair cannot grow back. Because it does not rely on pigment, electrolysis works on every hair color and every skin tone, including blonde, gray, red and white hair that laser cannot treat.

What to expect
Every treated follicle is permanently disabled. Because hair grows in cycles, regular sessions over several months clear the area completely.

Consultation
We look at the area, your hair growth and your goals, and estimate how many sessions to plan for.

Preparation
Let the hair grow out a few days so each follicle can be treated. Avoid waxing or plucking beforehand.

Treatment
Each follicle is treated individually. Sessions last about 15 to 60 minutes depending on the area.

Aftercare
Slight redness or swelling usually settles within a day. Keep the area clean and avoid makeup for 24 hours.
